The Nighthawk Custom GRP (Global Response Pistol) is built to the same exacting standards as every Nighthawk Custom firearm. Fully machined components are hand-fit by a single gunsmith for heirloom-quality looks, precision, and performance in a no-frills Government-size 1911 chambered in .45 ACP.

It features a 5-inch hand-fit match-grade throated barrel with polished feed ramp, black nitride finish, Heinie Ledge Straight Eight tritium night sights, and G10 Gator Back grips with the Nighthawk Custom logo. The frame includes 25 lines-per-inch checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing, a hand-blended grip safety, shortened and beveled slide stop, ultra hi-cut front strap, and a recon rail. A lightweight aluminum tri-cavity trigger is custom-set to 3.5–3.75 pounds. Overall length is 8.65 inches with an empty weight of 39.0 ounces. Two 8-round magazines are included. This model is California compliant.
